Starlite Theatre Announces Grand Re-Opening

The Starlite Theatre in Branson has announced their Grand Re-Opening on Friday, May 18 at 2:30 PM. The #1 vocal group in the history of America’s Got Talent, The Texas Tenors will kick off the season with a 3PM performance. Prior to the performance there will be a 2:30PM unveiling of the new marquee sign and a ribbon-cutting with the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB.

Starlite Theatre Damage Tops $1 million dollars

While the damage wrought by the Leap Day tornado on some businesses in Branson was obvious, it was far more subtle on others. The Starlite Theatre fell into the latter category. Marketing Director Rob McCormick said few in the community seem to know the theater sustained approximately $1 million worth of damage in the storm.

Starlite Theatre Damaged By EF-2 Tornado

The Starlite Theatre suffered significant damage when an EF-2 tornado touched down in Branson on February 29. The twister damaged theaters, attractions and hotels on the world-famous Highway 76 strip. The Starlite Theatre is still being evaluated for structural integrity and assessment of damages continues but power has been restored as of Saturday March 3 and cleanup operations are ongoing.
