Letter From Debby Long
Mr. Pivaral,
I just wanted to let you know how much your performance meant to my granddaughter’s and myself. I’m sending this picture because I know you see so many people that you may not remember what girl I’m referring to in this letter.
I lived in Las Vegas for 18 years and have seen a lot of shows and I know that several of the shows include the audience in the same fashion that yours did. This was a first for both of my granddaughters so I did not tell them anything about the show so that they could get the fullest experience possible. To say the least the show delivered above and beyond their expectations. Especially for Brittney. The girls come from a broken home living part of the week with one parent, the other part with the other and with me whenever they can. Brittney is the middle child and feels she is always living in her big sister’s shadow and towers over her baby brother who is all of six and everyone gushes over. She sometimes gets lost in the shuffle, so when you singled her out she felt center stage and what a boost to her ego that was. And to acknowledge her throughout the show you went the extra mile with her. You gave her a lifetime memory. I cannot thank you enough.
My hope was to take the girls away from the drama of their everyday lives and do fun things they had never done, they were not disappointed. Sister Ashley enjoyed the show as well and she was really fond of Raven’s antics. The show had special meaning for me on a different level. As I said I lived in Vegas for 18 years and for their mothers 18th birthday I gave her two tickets to the Cirque du Soleil. To this day she still talks about it. At the time the show cost too much to get anymore than two tickets. I couldn’t see the show with her but seeing a similar show with Ashley and Britt was worth the wait and I always did hate the crowds in Vegas. I hope you guys do get a permanent place in Branson. I’m looking forward to my next trip there and the girls have already asked me to take them again.
Please don’t ever take that out of your act. You never know how much you may touch a young person’s life in such a positive way.
Thanks for allowing me the chance to try and convey to you what words often cannot express.
