John Hagen Biography

John grew up in a household filled with music. His early musical background consisted of piano and vocal studies with his Mother and High School Choir with his Father. After receiving a degree in music John followed in the footsteps of his parents as a music educator teaching at Wartburg College and the University of Northern Iowa. He has performed a wide range of operatic roles with regional opera companies and symphony orchestras. John has a passion for both art and music, he owns and operates the Henry W. Myrtle Gallery.
