Starlite Theatre’s General Manager Linda Merkling celebrates her one year anniversary today!
One of her first goals was to create community relations and partnerships, not just to benefit the Starlite Theatre, but to benefit the community and Branson tourism. The theatre is involved with the Branson Chamber of Commerce and the Branson Convention Visitors, by providing entertainers to help promote Branson and bring more tourism to the area.
“Working with Linda, and getting to know her over the past year, has been such a joy. Her expertise contributes loads to the committees on which she serves, and she enthusiastically supports the entire Branson community in her efforts,” said Lynn Berry, Director of Communications, Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB.
Randy Little states: “We are extremely happy to get the caliber of talent necessary to lead the Starlite Theatre to a new level of entertainment. Linda was selected for her diverse background in marketing, promotions and advertising as well as retail and restaurant management. She understands that to be successful, talented and motivated individuals must work together to ensure a positive experience for their guests, entertainers, employees and the Branson community. Linda has become a crucial part of the team to ensure that Starlite Theatre will be successful in years to come.”
Linda has created an environment at the Starlite, that offers an enjoyable experience for guests, and members of her team enjoy their jobs. Every aspect of the operation has made positive changes, from the guest experience at the front door, sound/lighting on stage, improved Starlite Diner meals and an all new Next Level Gift Shop! Linda is committed to Starlite Theatre’s goal of having the best performances and entertainment value, so that the theatre reflects positively on the Branson community.
